Dante & Dory's pet emporium is a happy haven focused on delivering everyday adventures, fine goods and fun times to the pets and people of Galesburg Illinois, and beyond. Once you step through our doors, or dive into our website you’ll be transported to a world of imagination and discovery, where enriching activities, wholesome nutrition, simple pleasures and little luxuries abound.

Dante & Dory’s might be a pet destination, but it’s designed with humans in mind. Around every corner you’ll find sensory delights and high-quality solutions and expert advice when you need it. So stop on by, escape the stresses of the day-to-day and step into a little slice of pet paradise, built on positivity, spontaneity, and the pure joy of a life well lived, together.

Currently, the store is open with pet supplies for dogs, cats, small animals, birds, reptiles and fish. We are building out multiple self wash, dog wash rooms and an indoor play space, which will also allow us to expand into new retail categories as well and gain access to our back parking lot as an additional entrance for customers. 

We do not have grooming services at this time, but hope to in the future. 

Joey & Candace ran multiple, highly successful, pet businesses in Chicago, IL. After selling their last brick & mortar business, they moved to Galesburg, IL. They purchased (the old Dollar General property at Main & Seminary) in 2021 to beautify the block and bring back small business, not knowing then they'd be building the next doggy fun zone for our area!
